About the Author

Introducing Michael and Debi Pearl Michael and Debi Pearl have been married since 1971. They have 5 children and 15 grandchildren. Between them they have authored 14 books and 8 booklets which combined have sold millions. Much of what they write deals with marriage, child training, and homeschooling. One of their recent books, Good and Evil (Bible stories in Marvel comic format), has been published into 25 languages with another 60 translations soon to be ready for press. The Pearl's also publish a 32 page bi-monthly magazine with a subscription of over 100,000. Needless to say they are prolific writers and public speakers. On another note, Michael is an inductee into the International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame and holds several world titles, including Gold Cup winner of 2008-9, long distance thrower of the year with a record all time high of hitting a four inch target at 63 feet, and he is the undisputed best tomahawk thrower of 2009, holding the world title. When he is not teaching the Bible or speaking to audiences on how to have a good marriage and obedient children he is teaching kids how to stick a bull's eye with a knife or hawk. Anne Rice hands readers a delicious tale. If you are curious about high protocol BDSM, you will enjoy this ride. If you don't understand the basis for the story, it will just seem like a lot of spankings and humiliation. It's more than obvious that Anne Rice is experienced in kink and BDSM...bravo to her for giving readers some juicy tales to chew on!

I purchased this after reading the intro written by Ann Rice and thought it would be similar to 50 Shades, which I enjoyed. This was not reading enjoyment. A far cry from "soft porn", this was violent, graphic rape and abuse. I deleted this from my Kindle by chapter 4, as I was hoping it would obtain more of a story line...it does not.Very disappointed since Ms. Rice is one of my favorite authors. I will be sticking to her vampires, werewolves and witches.

Cheeky, naughty, and sexy, the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy was 100x better than "50 Shades of Juvenile Writing" ... I mean "Grey."

Spanking, more spanking, and then a bit more spanking. I still don't think the slaves are enjoying any of it. I'm just very sad for everyone involved.

Wow, a friend told me about these books. Once you pick one up you won't be able to put it down. Fifty shades of grey will seem like from here to eternity after you read this series.

Loved it. It took me a while to get into this book series because its something that I have never read before. I read the first one a year ago and hated it. So I thought I would give it another try because I expected what was going to happen the shock factor was lower and that fact that I was able to connect into this fantasy world. It was fantastic. I am used to reading books as I am the characters and this is one of those books I had to read as just a book. But WHOA some of the scenes are graphic and well written, after reading it the second time I was immerced in each book I couldn't put them down. I bought all of them and loved each one for different reasons. Way to go Anne I am glad I gave this a second shot.

Definitely for the sexually open minded adult reader only.

I had actually owned/read this trilogy a long time ago but wanted to get a new copy for myself. Anyone picking this up because they like Anne Rice (who is writing under the name A. N. Roquelaure) should be advised that this is not like her "normal" stories, such as The Vampire Chronicles. To be blunt, this is an erotica trilogy, and as such, there is a lot of explicit sex.
