Great high level info on Arduino process and programming and i too was a newbie to Arduino a year or so ago and after getting into the basic examples found myself resorting to a cut and paste of other people's code segments instead of really understanding the underlying principles and my biggest weakness was not so much the commands and their usage but rather to get the Arduino to handle lots of different tasks simultaneously, in well structured sketches and most of my projects involve reading measurements but still having the Arduino ready to respond to inputs and keep an LCD display updated, without using interrupts where possible and understanding how functions work inside sketches has really helped here, as has the correct usage of variable types and after finishing this book anyone, and I mean anyone, will be prepared to program their arduino for most simple tasks in just a few minutes and i chose five stars because this book satisfied my thirst for a proper introduction into the world of Arduino programming and i saved an immense amount of time and if you are a beginner in programming and only have only BASIC under your belt or nothing this is a good start and it's following primer Programming Arduino Next Steps is also a good book for beginners.

Being someone new to Arduino, I find this guide perfect for me. It carefully guides me from the most basic information about the board to a more valuable aspects of launching my own Arduino board. It’s easy to read and understand.
A comprehensive guide to getting the proper understanding of Arduino. The author has explained everything in details in an easy language to understand the Arduino setup and how to create a properly functioned board with a nice set of coding to apply and enjoy a functioning project. I really enjoyed the book and recommended to everyone interested in Arduino.
Nothing groundbreaking. Just simple projects for a beginner. Glad it is here to teach people. Great for kids to learn
